Dustin Roberson • Youth and Music Minister

About Dustin I was invited by a church member to apply for the Worship Leader position. During my interview, which lasted nearly two hours, I learned they were also searching for a Youth Minister. Youth ministry had already been on my heart, but I hadn’t considered that it could be an opportunity here. As we talked, I began to see how my passions and gifts could fit both roles, and I felt God opening a door I hadn’t expected. After taking some time to pray and reflect, I applied for both positions. The opportunity to serve in these capacities felt like a natural fit, and I’m grateful for how everything came together.

I was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I attended Boulevard Christian School through eighth grade before transferring to Hilldale High School, where I graduated. Throughout high school, I stayed involved in a variety of activities, including band, choir, drama, baseball, and German Club.

Outside of school, music was a big part of my life. I loved playing in a local band with friends and performing at shows whenever we had the opportunity. In my free time, I also enjoyed skateboarding, playing video games, and just spending time with friends. Looking back, those experiences helped shape my love for music, teamwork, and building relationships.

We have one dog named Scottie, and he’s a rescue.
